WelcomeThe Willowcreek Academy focus is assuring each child creates happy childhood memories, while he/she acquires the educational and life skills necessary to be successful. To achieve this goal, the center has an extensive curriculum designed for each developmental age.
Our curriculum has been founded on the principles of Multiple Intelligences. It is based upon both brain research and recent studies on how children learn. This approach includes a variety of teaching styles and involves “hands on learning” activities and play, ensuring each child’s success. Willowcreek Academy’s curriculum offers children the opportunities needed to improve their individual ability to learn, under each learning style, and to become well rounded in both abilities and interests.
The Willowcreek Academy curriculum is created by our professional teaching staff using the latest in curriculum support materials in Math, Science and Language Development. In every program (Infant through PreKindergarten), parents will receive a copy of the Lesson Plan form detailing the activities which will be occurring. The activities planned will be balanced to include opportunities for both learning and great fun for the children! Each program is designed to provide children opportunities for choice and decision making. Activities are planned each day for individual, small, and large group sessions; the lesson planning assures a good balance of both active and quiet learning and activities.
